A steering committee was formed in the fall of 2016 called Voices for Education (VFE). Made up of students, teachers, school administrators, community members, and school board representatives, VFE is in the process of being actively involved in helping to facilitate dialogue and other engagement opportunities to help the EWSD. When Johannes Everse looks at a pile of wood, used robotics parts, and a discarded salad bar sneeze guard, he sees opportunity. As a culminating project to showcase his learning, Johannes set out to build a 3D concrete printer.
