• Engineering & Architectural Design

  • Imagine Yourself...

    • Designing a product in 3-D on a Computer Aided Design program
    • Printing out 3-dimensional prototypes of your design to show family and friends
    • Creating a plan that gets used for constructing a house
    • Designing, creating and then destroying models to gain engineering data

    What will I learn...

You will explore the very fulfilling world of engineering design by using state-of-the-art software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.  Students in the program get to choose projects of interest to them and then make the objects using our Fabrication lab (Fablab).

Learn how to create drawings for the industry.  Use problem solving skills for solutions that work.  Visit local manufacturers and building sites to find out what engineers and architects do.

If you like to be creative, plan and make anything, from your own snowboard binding to a model of your own house, then this is your program.

    Additionally...

    • Earn up to four college credits through this program
    • Work with engineers and designers on a Career Work Experience making connections for your future
    • Become industry certified in using SolidWorks 3-D CAD
    • Prepare for a college or university program in engineering or architecture
