Mrs. Reina Guarnaccia

¡Hola! ¡Bienvenidos! (Welcome!)

My name is Reina Guarnaccia (Gwar-nah-cha) and students call me Señora Guarnaccia or Señora G (pronounced "Hey!"). I am excited to be teaching Spanish again this year at Essex Middle School as well as Essex High School. This will be my second year teaching in Essex and my 8th year of teaching Spanish. I teach 7th and 8th grade Spanish at EMS every morning and I teach Spanish levels I and III at Essex High School every afternoon. I am passionate about the Spanish language and culture, and as a teacher my number one priorities are building relationships with my students and supporting their lifelong learning. In addition to teaching the language and culture, I am committed to integrating mindfulness and restorative practices in my classroom. Please see the links below to learn more about me and my teaching philosophy.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time in nature, gardening, singing, practicing yoga, running, and so much more. I look forward to getting to know you!

Best,

Sra. Guarnaccia
