Sport Medicine

  • EHS Athletic Trainers, Leo LaBonte and Seth Rebeor Leo LaBonte, Med, ATC, CSCS Leo has been a certified athletic trainer for over 19 years and has been a certified strength and conditioning specialist for over  7 years.   He is a graduate from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire and received a Masters in education from the University of Vermont.   Leo has been working with our Essex athletes for over 18 years. Seth Rebeor, ATC Seth joined EHS for the 2013-14 school year.  A native of Fairfax, VT, and a graduate of UVM, Seth did a clinical rotation at Essex during his undergraduate years.  He also played soccer at UVM. Travis Warmouth, ATC, CSCS, MS Travis attended Plymouth State University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training.  From there he obtained his Athletic Training Certification in 2006.  He continued on to graduate school at the University of Mississippi, where he worked as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer in the Sports Medicine program.  In 2008 he earned a Masters of Science in Exercise Science.     CONCUSSIONS:  In high school sports, concussions are becoming an increasing concern.  Our athletic training staff and our coaches are in full compliance with all legal requirements with regard to education and concussion management.  And nothing is more important to us than the safety of our athletes.  Below are links to all relevant information that serves as our guidelines and protocols with respect to concussions.
