Ink Tank

Whether you write poetry, short stories, songs, novels, or just want to find out if writing is for you, Ink Tank will provide a space for your creativity! We will have allocated writing time, peer/mentor support, workshops, writing submissions, and guest speakers. Ink Tank is a safe place to be proud of your art.

"Dance first. Think later. It's the natural order." -- Samuel Beckett The Ink Tank is where writers come to dance.

The Ink Tank is a writer's salon, much like the salon of the Gertrude Stein's 27 rue de Fleurus Literary Salon in Paris where Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ezra Pound and others came to argue and passionately discuss art and writing. Each week we gather to choreograph our writing lives. We meet to write, to discuss writers and writing, to plan readings and literary events. Everyone is welcome and all kinds of passions about writing are encouraged. The Ink Tank is here to celebrate your writing and writing in the world.

"Learn the rules, break the rules, make up new rules, break the new rules." -- Poet Marvin Bell
