NYC Field Trip Information

  • NYC Trip Information and Payment Deadlines

    Deadline for NYC trip deposits is Monday, Nov 7th.  Please bring payments in the form of a check or money order. Do not pay with cash, with so many students and teachers involved it’s very important that we can document payments accurately. If for any reason you cannot make the trip please let us know immediately as we have many students on the waitlist. Checks should be made out to EWSD Student Activities.

    Payment Schedule

    • Deposit accepted starting Friday October 27th- spaces will fill up quickly and spaces are reserved for first come first serve basis. Deposits must be given to Pam Blake in the Guidance office.
      • Deposit is non-refundable.
    • December 1st- $150 and your medical release form for Essex
      • There may be an additional form for the tour company as well.
    • January 5th- $150
    • February 2nd: balance due ($100 to $200 depending on student participation and shows)


    Failure to make your payments on time could forfeit your ability to go. This is the refund policy of the company:

    • Before January 5, 2018 : 100% refund (less $100 deposit)
    • NO REFUND after January 6th


    **There will be a mandatory parent and student meeting in March to go over the logistics and itinerary of the trip and to answer questions you and your parents may have.
