Uses by Group and Fees

  • Activity Groups

    Groups are differentiated by their purposes and relationship with the school district. A group's number identifies the cost of facility use that will be incurred. The district reserves the right to change the fees at any time, though the fee described at the time of booking will be honored.

    Group 1: School Uses. All EWSD student, teacher, and parent organizations. All co- and extracurricular activities. All school-sponsored events.

    Examples: school boards, athletic teams (including intramurals), student clubs, musical ensembles, choral groups, orchestra, and student dances

    Fees: No facility use fee. Kitchen personnel costs if applicable.

    Group 2: Public/Community Uses. Recreation departments, Municipal government organizations, or non-profit youth organizations which serve the communities comprising the Essex Westford School District.

    Fees: No facility use fee. Kitchen personnel costs if applicable. Attendant labor costs, or in-kind arrangement.

    Group 3: Private nonprofits. Nonprofits or organizations other than those identified in Group 2.

    Fees:

    • Facility use fee charged according to schedule, or in-kind arrangement
    • Kitchen personnel costs (if applicable)
    • Attendant labor costs, or in-kind arrangement

    Group 4: Others. All other individuals, groups or agencies on a first-come, first-serve basis

    Fees:

    • Facility use fee charged according to schedule or 15% of admission fees (whichever is greater), or in-kind arrangement
    • Kitchen personnel costs (if applicable)
    • Attendant labor costs, or in-kind arrangement

    Kitchen Personnel - Cost: $22.50/hr - Overtime cost: $32.50/hr
