Mr. Oquendo is the new music teacher at Thomas Fleming. He will be teaching all general music classes and some of the band lessons. For the last 5 years, Mr. Oquendo has been working at the North Country Supervisory Union, which is in the North East Kingdom. Originally, he worked as the music teacher at both Newport Town School and Lowell Graded School. In his third year, he had the opportunity to move to Lowell full-time as both the music teacher and technology integrationist. Mr. Oquendo is originally from Long Island, but he is very happy to be living up in Vermont. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, gardening, and reading. Mr. Oquendo is looking forward to working with all of the Fleming students!
