Mrs. Foley

My name is Lisa Foley and I have been teaching for 17 years. Before beginning my career in education I became a Certified Kitchen Designer and also worked as a food sculptor and photo stylist. I began teaching at Hunters Woods Magnet School for the Arts and Science in Fairfax County Virginia. This position allowed me to do arts integration training for five years at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

I moved to Vermont in 2007 and I was able to help get the arts integration program started in several CCSU schools. My passion is teaching art through an integrated lens so students can learn about content in many ways. This can contribute to their success in accessing information in many ways and allowing them to be successful using learning styles that best suit them. I currently teach at Summit Street and Thomas Fleming School.
