Greetings! My name is Mrs. Hopper and this is my fifth year teaching at Thomas Fleming School. Prior to teaching at Thomas Fleming I worked at Founders Memorial School in Essex Town and at Christ the King School in Burlington. I live in Starksboro with my husband, Matt, and our two children, Lawley and Wilson. We also have a big furry Bernese Mountain Dog named Louie. You will be hearing many stories about Lawley, Wilson and Louie during the school year. Over the summer we spent a lot of time biking, hiking and eating plenty of blueberries and raspberries. We also spent time at the beach in Florida and saw humpback whales off the coast of Cape Cod. I will be teaching math, science and social studies this year and I am excited to begin a year of learning and exploring with all of you!

Welcome to Ms. Songer's homepage! There is a long standing rumor that I am the teacher who loves chocolate... this is a true fact!! I also love to have a classroom full of great books for students. Fleming has been part of my life since the year 2000. I am beginning my 17th year as a fourth grade teacher, and my 29th year as an elementary school teacher. I have three children of my own. Dustin (23), Kate (20), and Nathan(16). We have a very old white, German Shepard named Vegas and a spunky, little cat named Roo. Here's to another amazing year of teaching, learning, and living life!
