Vermont is currently receiving people with refugee status or parole immigration from Afghanistan and Ukraine. Please share the following with your school community. How to get involved in welcoming and hosting people who have refugee or immigration parole status:

• Afghan Allies- USCRI- links to donate, volunteer, and learn more about new families coming from Afghanistan
• Community Sponsorship- links for volunteering, sponsoring, and advocating for new families coming from Afghanistan
• Uniting for Ukraine- host a family coming from Ukraine in your own home
• Uniting for Ukraine- USCRI- more detailed information from the Vermont USCRI about helping Ukrainian families
• Volunteering at the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Center- sign up to mentor a new family with the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Center
