In this course you will learn about major NEC changes that will impact your work, whether you're an electrician, contractor, engineer, designer, or plant/facility maintenance professional.Licensed electricians will earn 15 hours of required board-approved code instruction on this weekend course.This class incorporates the IAEI’s changes to the 2023 NEC program as well as Mike Holt’s Code Changes and is appropriate for those with licenses in VT, NH, ME, and MA.NH electrical inspector Ken Vallery leads this class, bringing a sense of humor and real-world experience from his 30+ years in the field.Course content:
- Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection
- Service entrance equipment
- Reconditioned equipment
- Performance testing
- Load calculations
- Other topics as needed
We recommend you bring the 2023 or 2020 NEC National Electrical Code (NEC).
Please bring to registration on the first morning the electrical license for each state you are qualified and photo identification, such as a driver’s license.
Attendance is taken three times each day to ensure you are present throughout the code training.
Certificates of completion will be handed out at the end of the second day.
Day/Time: Class meets on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26. 8:00am - 5:00pm each day. Check-in starts at 7:30am on Saturday and 7:45am on Sunday. Please arrive before 8am so we can begin on time. We have fifteen hours of code update to cover over the course of two days. We will end each day at 5pm.
Cost: $245 for the two-day session. Includes light lunch both days.
