It is critical to introduce World language by the time students enter middle school. As the world and the United States become increasingly diverse and multilingual, learning a new language gives students vital life skills of learning to communicate with others and understand themselves and their own cultures better.  It also provides them with the opportunity to personally and professionally expand their horizons in the near and distant future.
