Kindergarten Virtual Academy

Dinah Macy
Hi! My name is Dinah, and I'm really excited to start this virtual adventure together. I have been teaching kindergarten, and first grades in the Boston area the last five years, and I LOVE to learn! I currently reside in Boston with my partner, and our tuxedo cat, and turtle.
When I'm not in the classroom, I like to run, experiment with new recipes, and spend time outside.
What to Expect with SeeSaw
-
All students will have a synchronus lesson at a common time in the morning. Synchronus means students will engage in course activities at a specific date/time. This means everyone will be required to be online for this as it is a daily, scheduled event.
Attendence is how we ensure participation and learning is taking place. Students will work primarily in SeeSaw, which is a learning application. A teacher will send an invitation with a link, in an email to families. Watch the video below to learn more.
Assignments will be given through the app. When the teacher posts something new in SeeSaw, families can be notified via app notification, email or SMS. Watch the video below to see how to help your child set up SeeSaw for their learning.
