Welcome Back & Supply List - 6th Grade

  • Dear 6th Grade Parents/Guardians:

    We are excited to welcome you to sixth grade here at ADL.  We are looking forward to getting to know our new students and families and reconnecting with other families.  We hope that you are excited to come to ADL.

    Here is a suggested list of items for students to bring with them on the first day to help be prepared and stay organized for the upcoming school year. 

    Supply List

    Infinity - Kinney, Dudley, Heath

    • A 3-ring binder (many students seem to prefer something that can be zipped closed as it is easier to carry between classes)
    • 4 pocket folders to be kept in binder
    • Pencils with erasers
    • Extra eraser caps
    • Colored pencils
    • Highlighter
    • Pencil/pen pouch
    • A book to read
    • One composition notebook (No spiral)

Assignments

  • Google Classroom

    To find assignments and class announcements for our classes, have your student bring up their Google Classroom page.  

    In addition, you should get a guardian email invitation that will set up a daily or weekly email updating you on everything that your student has been assigned on their Google Classroom.  If you have not received the invitation please contact Mr. Dudley or Mrs. Kinney. 

    JumpRope

    JumpRope is the system we use to share grades and missing assignments.  This is the only way to tell if your students is truly missing an assignment since it is administered by the teachers.
