WI hope everyone enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving.  We had an extra long break with our snow day right before vacation.  Feeling much more wintery than fall these days!

This last week of November we will be transitioning from fall conversations to winter ones!  Our classroom library will show the difference too!

There are many special activities in December.  Keep your eyes open for notifications!  Check out information about the annual Hand to Hand Sale at Hiawatha!  An explanation is included on the Friday Newsletter page.

Be sure to keep up with special dates and activities - I try to put all relevent dates on the calendar on our class page, but also be sure to check Hiawatha Events and the School Calendar to be sure you have all the info you need!

Mrs. Karen Seaman

I am Karen Seaman. This is my 28th year teaching, all in kindergarten.  I taught in Morrisville for 14 years and am in my 14th year at Hiawatha in Essex Junction.  I love working with kindergarteners and can't imagine teaching anything else!  It has been great to work in EJ as this is where I grew up.  I graduated from Essex High School in 1984.  It is nice to be able to give back to a community that gave me so much.

I am also a mother of two amazing children. My daughter is my eldest, a senior, and is passionate about musical theatre. My son, a freshman, is passionate about sports, especially hockey.  They are both students at EHS.
