Teen Read Week Oct. 7-13: Stop, Drop & Read
The library will host three Stop, Drop and Read events during flex block on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Students visiting during Flex will be asked to read a book or magazine.

Flex Block Career Talk: Welding & Construction
We will welcome a Project Eingineer and Welder from Engelberth Construction on Thursday, 10/11 during flex (10:50-11:20) in the library.

Author Visit Wed., Sept. 26: Dashka Slater
Dashka Slater, author of the award-winning non-fiction book, The 57 Bus, will be speaking at EHS/CTE Library on September 26. We have lots of extra copies of her book, so drop by and check one out!

Please join us this Friday, May 4th, from 11:25-2 pm in Library Conference Room 1 to vote for your favorite Green Mountain Book Award book and celebrate with an ice cream party. Vote on Your Favorite Rebranded Book Jacket
Voting is already underway in the Library for the annual book jacket rebrand competition featuring work by CTE Design & Creative Media students. Voting closes on May 1st. The winning entry will be announced at a special reception in the Library on May 2.

Teen Tech Week!
Calling all EHS & CTE makers, creators, and innovators! Teen Tech Week will be taking over the Library and Maker Space on March 5-9. We have a full schedule, including Raspberry Pi, Ozobot Bridges, Pixel Art, Green Screen, Pinbox 3000, and many opportunities to build and create. Stop by and join the fun!

Great Backyard Bird Count Feb 16-19
The Library is embarking on its first citizen science project by participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count on Friday, Feb. 16 and Monday, Feb. 19. You can be a part of it by helping us count birds at EHS for 15 minutes during Flex Block. Stop by the library to learn more!

DVDs Now Have a Longer Check-out Period
Beginning immediately, DVDs in the EHS/CTE Library will be checked out for two-weeks. DVDs were previously checked out for three days. Enjoy the new, extended check-out period!

McKenzie To Visit the Library Exam Week
McKenzie, a Newfoundland therapy dog, will be in the library to help students de-stress between exams on Tuesday, 1/16 and Wednesday, 1/17.
