Alice grew up in Bristol, Vermont, and now lives in Starksboro.  Alice graduated from Mount Abraham Union High School, Middlebury College, Trinity College of Vermont and the University of Vermont.  Alice worked for 7 years in Central Vermont as a special educator before coming to Essex Junction and has been here since 2001.  Alice loves teaching!  In her free time, Alice enjoys being with her family, gardening and playing music.

My name is Jennifer Ormerod and I’m one of the 3 Learning Specialists at Hiawatha.  I have been a special educator for the past 19 years.  I started my career as an Early Childhood Special Educator and then received my endorsement in Elementary Special Education about 8 years ago.  In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends.  I particularly enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, running and camping.
