    10th grade meetings with school counselors: These will run from 4/3-4/21. Please watch your school email and the counseling lobby windows for more information starting 3/27.

    School Choice IN/OUT 2023-2024 - Lottery results have been sent to sending schools and letters went out in the mail for all applicants. Please email hkennison@ewsd.org if you have any questions.

    EHS & VTVLC/VHS course drop guidelines: Even though VHS & VTVLC have their own drop procedures, students can drop one of those classes up to 10 school days after Quarter 1 ends (or Quarter 3 for a semester 2 class) with no impact on transcript (nothing will show up at all). If the course is dropped after the 10 day mark, a grade of W (withdraw) with no GPA bearing will be added to the transcript.Talk to the EHS VTVLC/VHS coordinator Aaron Mason with any questions.

Essex High School Counseling Team

  • The goal of the school counseling program at Essex High School is to enhance the learning process for all students through academic, career, and social/emotional support. 

    The school counseling program is a collaborative effort between the school counselor, student, parents, and other educators to create an environment that promotes student achievement.

    PowerSchool Mobile can be downloaded  from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store: search for "PowerSchool". PowerSchool apps should be the first results that appear.

    Then sign in to the app with your PowerSchool Student and Parent Portal username and password.

    If you do not have a PowerSchool Student and Parent Portal account, tap I Need An Account at the bottom of the first screen for complete information on how to get an account.

    To get to the Forms navigate to the "More" section on the bottom navigation pane and select "Forms", Find and complete the desired form. Please make sure that you Submit all required forms.
