Summit Street Parent-Teacher Organization
The Summit Street PTO promotes the welfare and education of children in our school community.
Parents, guardians and school administration are active participants in establishing educational goals and supporting academic and extracurricular offerings through fundraising and other activities.
By virtue of their relation to the school and its students, parents and guardians, as well as school staff, are considered members of the Summit PTO.
PTO – Can you Help Provide Food on Summit Street Conference Day –
Every year Summit families provide food for our busy teachers and staff on school conference day and, we want to thank you for your support of this event! If you can help this year, please use this easy SIGNUP GENISUS LINK to let us know what food/drink item you will provide.
Please bring your item to school on October 19th preferably by 8:30a.m. Items can be left in the staff lounge or front office. Contact Corey Wood at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.

Happy Fall….it’s PASTA Dinner Time!!!!!!!! -
Did you say MAC AND CHEESE????? New this year!!!!!! The Pasta Dinner is JUST around the corner on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $5 adults & $3 children. This year we will be serving spaghetti as well as mac and cheese! Please call Kathleen Ready in the Health Office if you need financial assistance with tickets.
Please volunteer to sign-up if you are able to help with food donations, setup, serving dinner, and to help with the cleanup.

Book Fair –
Summit Street School’s annual Fall Book Fair will be held during the week of Monday, October 23rd through Friday, October 27th, with special evening hours during the Pasta Dinner on Tuesday, October 24th. The book fair hours will be announced soon! All children attending the book fair must be accompanied by an adult.
Our goal is to get a treasure into the hands of every student! Our book fair proceeds are used each year to purchase the BookFlix subscription as well as many high-interest books for the leveled library bins.
We are in need of volunteers to run the register during fair hours, set up books and displays, as well as packing-up the fair on the morning of Friday, 10/27. Please see sign-up below!

Can our school make $350 from trash?
That is our goal this year - to collect enough Box Tops for Education that we can get something great for the school!
Please tear off the little "Box Tops for Education" and send them in with your kids and/or drop them off in the BIG YELLOW BOX in the upstairs hallway near the main office of Summit Street School. You can find these Box Tops on many participating products: www.boxtops4education.com/earn/participating-products Tell your friends, grandparents, co-workers to give you theirs too!
