Two Students Honored by the Vermont Foreign Language Association
May 6, 2019 On Tuesday, April 30, two Westford School students were recognized by the Vermont Foreign Language Association in Montpelier.
At a reception with Governor Scott at the State House, Xandra Ford, a seventh-grade student from Westford and Meghan Finn, a former Westford School student who is now a freshman at Essex High School, were both honored.
Xandra won third place for middle-school students in the poster contest, while Meghan won first place in the essay contest at the novice level. Both girls study French with Maddy Posig.
The theme this year for both was based on “The Limits of My Language are the Limits of my world,” by Ludwig Wittgenstein.
