Mellencamp to Open the Year as Acting Principal

Amy Mellencamp August 12, 2019
Fall is a time of many changes, and one will be an acting principal serving in the immediate weeks starting off the fall semester at Westford School.

Principal Marcie Lewis will be on maternity leave, following the birth of her newest family member. Stepping in for her will be former Burlington principal, Amy Mellencamp.

Mellencamp is a retired school principal who served as director of curriculum and principal at C.P. Smith, and was long-time principal at Burlington High School.

Most recently, she has also been supervising student teachers for St. Michael's College and subbing for other school principals in the area, including here in EWSD.

"I look forward to meeting students and parents and getting to know the Westford community!" said Mellencamp.
