EHS is a State Winner in Samsung Contest!

Selected from thousands of entries nationwide, Essex High School has been named a Vermont State Winner in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest for its proposed plan to combat climate change by improving waste disposal practices at EHS.

Our goal is to use STEM to help make recycling at our school more productive and efficient. Essex High School is among the nation’s 100 State Winners (at least one school from all 50 states) and will receive $15,000 in technology for its achievement.

The project is a collaboration between the Environmental Club, STEM Academy and Mobile App Development Course under the supervision of Erin Bessy, Lea Ann Smith and Kelly Hill.
