Westford third and fourth graders are working on an art and library collaboration. 

They are participating in the Traveling Mural Project with schools from across the country. Students worked in art class to create a beautiful folk art landscape inspired by the artist Heather Galler. The completed mural was cut into 10 pieces and sent off to their 9 partner schools.

In the library, they mapped where each of the partner schools is in the country, learned a bit about their local geography, and mapped how far the mural would travel.

They are now building a new mural with the pieces they are receiving from their partner schools.
