From the nurse

Reminder from the nurse:

Please do not send students into school with any of the following symptoms: runny nose, sore throat, headache, fatigue, fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of taste or smell. If students arrive at school with any one of these symptoms, they will be sent home. That being said, please do not send your child into school if they took medication for symptoms, as that means they are not well enough to be in school and likely need to be tested or see a doctor.

Here are the state guidelines that the school needs to follow regarding when a student can return to school after experiencing any of the symptoms

If you are questioning whether your child can come to school or not, please contact the school nurse or your child’s primary care provider, and keep your child home until you hear back from your school nurse or provider regarding next steps.
