Computer Resources

  • Access Naviance through the EHS webpage under the “Our School” heading and “Student Tools” link. 
  • Naviance includes college planning links, career and college searches, upcoming college visits, important email messages, finalizing your college list, transcript and recommendation requests, and scholarship information. 
  • Username is the same as your regular school log-in.  Initial password is month, date, year of birth (6 digits XXZZYY).  You should change your password after the first log-in.  Parents/guardians can also set up an account – please contact the school counseling office if you need the initial password.
  • Students should check the school counseling website for important information in the monthly Junior Newsletters (starting in March) and Senior Newsletters.  Other important information will also be available in the daily announcements and sent via email.  Parents will also be able to access this information through the School Counseling homepage at http://www.ewsd.org/ehscounseling

  • Barron’s Profiles of American Colleges, The College Handbook, Peterson’s Guides to 2- and 4-year Colleges, Peterson’s Pages (College Information Center), College Admissions Data Sourcebooks, and others. 
  • College Catalogues:  Contain information about major requirement, course descriptions, entrance requirements, student activities, financial aid, etc.
  • Financial Aid information and booklets, including materials from VSAC.
  • Information on college programs and services for students with learning disabilities.
  • Rugg’s Recommendations on the Colleges (a guide and also a website)
