Hi! My name is Kim Whitmore. I have worked at Hiawatha for 22 years! I started out as a paraeducator and then became a third grade teacher. I have taught first, second, and third grades here at Hiawatha. I have loved them all, but I’ve taught second grade for most of my years here. I love watching children grow and learn each year. I love teaching and I can’t imagine doing anything else!

When I am not at school learning and having fun with my students, you might find me skiing, reading, camping, spending time with family and friends, or walking my dog, Leo. These are all activities that I love!
