Hello, I'm Mrs. Doane and I've been teaching music at Summit Street since 2021. I'm excited to share my love of music with our amazing K-3 students. I strive to engage thoughtful learners, foster creativity, inspire a passion for the arts, and create an accepting, inclusive climate for students to express themselves through music. I believe that anyone can be a musical person and that practice makes progress, not perfection. Outside of school, I perform music with my husband. We both enjoy singing, playing guitar, and writing songs. I also love being outside in nature, photography, painting, traveling, and spending time with my family.
