Thank you to the EWSD Multilingual Advisory Council and all of the volunteers for hosting an outdoor family event at Maple Street Park. All EWSD multilingual families and friends of the multilingual community were invited to attend. Families and students participated in badminton, soccer games, a potato sack race, giant Jenga, face painting, henna, and many more fun activities! All families who attended received a book about a child's immigration story called Where Butterflies Fill The Sky by Zahra Marwan.




ADL: Thursday, October 5th - Today's field hockey game has been canceled. We will have practice after school instead!
Please be advised that traffic on Old Colchester Road and other streets nearby may be congested on Friday, Oct. 6 from 4:30-9:30 p.m. due to multiple sporting events taking place at EHS, including the homecoming football game.
Visiting teams are encouraged to park in the grass lots off of Old Colchester Road.

ADL STEAM teacher, Toni Zimmerman, will be joining the 5th Annual Pilot Light Food Education Fellowship! The Food Education Fellowship is a year-long professional development cohort designed to promote Food Education leadership in the Pilot Light model of integrated Food Education. 📢 EWSD Middle School students 📢 The 1st Annual Essex Rotary Youth Mini-Golf Tournament will be hosted on Sunday, October 1. Grab some friends to form a team, and enjoy some golf, lunch, ice cream, prizes, and more! Be sure to register your team soon!⛳😀

On Monday, October 9 from 9-2 p.m. at FMS (in the gym) there will be a blood drive in honor of Ruby. Ruby was diagnosed with inoperable Stage III, Group III embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma which is a nasal cavity cancer. This type of cancer affects about 250 children a year in the US. Donating blood can help patients like Ruby maintain healthier lives and outcomes because blood donations lengthen and save the lives of those who have cancer. ADL's Team Horizon went on their first field trip this school year to Leddy Park. They played team-building games in the morning, enjoyed lunch overlooking the lake, and had free time in the afternoon to play basketball, cards, CanJam, read, or just hang out! 🐾😃 #EWSD #YouBelong

Thursday, September 14: For ADL, today's boys' soccer game of Camels Hump at ADL will be played at Essex High School on field #3. Please park in lot C. This lot is on the opposite side of the track on Old Colchester Road. A team plays at 4:15, B team directly after.
Today’s girls' A soccer team will play at 4:15 at Camels Hump. The B team game is canceled, there is no practice.
Today’s field hockey game is canceled. There will be practice today, and a home game at 4:15 against Edmunds tomorrow, Friday 9/15.
