Building Arts and Small Engine Systems
Building Arts and Small Engine Systems is a program that explores the world of mechanics and woodworking. Students work on a variety of carpentry and building projects from lamps and cutting boards to doghouses and storage sheds. In addition, students discover the ins and outs of small engines by dissecting and restoring engines and equipment to working order.

Entrance Prerequisites
Applicants must have a 9th grade transcipt that shows an award of five full credits including:
1 Math
1 English
1 Social Studies
1 Science
1 Elective
Curriculum Components
Sophomores select one of the five curricular areas to focus on throughout the year. All Pre-Tech programs are representative of all the programs offered at CTE.
