The Essex Westford School District is seeking full-time Mainstream Instructional Assistants in grades K-8, beginning in the 24/25 school year.
In this role, you get to assist and supervise students instructionally, behaviorally, and physically in the general mainstream program. Teaching artists from the Clemmons Family Farm engaged with classes at FMS through their Windows To A Multicultural World (Joy in Motion!) program. Students took part in dance/movement, painting, and musical poetry!
FMS fourth grade students participated in a joint STEAM project with STEM teacher, Colleen Williams, and music teacher, Tyson Valyou. The students explored coding and creating instruments using Scratch, a Makey Makey, and recycled materials that are either insulators or conductive.

Essex Middle School is hosting a Parent Night on Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the EMS Cafeteria. This meeting is intended for only the parents and guardians of rising 6th grade students.
The ADL Rock Band Showcase will be held on Tuesday, May 14 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Double E Performance Center. Get ready to rock at an all-star performance of the more than two dozen 6-8th grade participants in the ADL Rock Band. Tickets are $8 for adults, and free for students 17 and under. All proceeds support ADL band programs.
