Hiawatha's first graders recently finished a literacy unit focused on - A World of Books. Their final book was Green Eggs and Ham. As one first grader said in response to Sam not being willing to try green eggs and ham at first, "We shouldn't judge a book by its cover."
All first graders gathered to read aloud the book together and were then surprised with the opportunity to try green eggs!
