Kolby Snellenberger

Kolby Snellenberger has been appointed as the Interim Principal of Hiawatha/Summit School for the 2025–2026 school year. He will officially step into the role on July 1, 2025.

Snellenberger brings a wealth of experience and a grounded, collaborative approach to leadership. He served as a principal in Arkansas for four years and, after relocating to Vermont, has spent the past three years as a principal in Burlington. His commitment to student success, along with his focus on Professional Learning Communities and Response to Intervention, aligns well with the strong work already happening at Hiawatha and Summit.

Looking ahead, the District is committed to launching a full search for a permanent principal this coming winter. This process will include many opportunities for staff, families, and the broader community to share their input and help shape the future leadership of Hiawatha/Summit School.
