This week is National School Bus Safety Week. 🛑🚌 Every student deserves a safe trip to and from school. This National School Bus Safety Week, join us and the National Coalition for Safer Roads in reminding motorists to slow down, put distractions away, and watch for children near school buses and bus stops.
Natural Resource Forestry students at CTE hosted their annual Apple Fest at Hiawatha Elementary School. 🍎🍏🍂 They participated in student-led activities and learning related to making cider!
The Heavenly Food Pantry, located at the First Congregational Church on Main Street in Essex Junction, will be open to families residing in Essex, Essex Junction, and Westford on Thursday, October 22, from 3-6 p.m.

The EWSD Music Department presents the Band Prism Concert! 🎻🎷 Students from grades 7-12 will be performing together on Tuesday, October 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the EHS Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

The EWSD Music Department presents the Fall Prism Concert! ADL, EMS, and EHS choir students will come together to perform on Wednesday, October 14, in the EHS Auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m. 🎶🎤
Our EWSD Facilities team recently completed Stop the Bleed training through a partnership with Essex Rescue and UVM Medical Center. This hands-on training gives our staff the knowledge and skills to respond to serious bleeding emergencies and help keep one another and our students safe until additional help arrives.

As we settle into the school year, a friendly reminder that EWSD school grounds, including fields and playgrounds, are not open to the public during the school day.
