Students in the Mathematics of Financial Literacy courses at Essex High School recently competed in a statewide Stock Market Game with more than 180 teams.
The team “Apex Investors,” made up of Brooke Reed and Maria Salvaty, took first place with a portfolio return of over 17% from January through April. This marks the second consecutive year Essex has finished first in the state, and the third time in the past four years.
