In the sports world:

The A boys pulled off a huge upset on Monday defeating previously undefeated Colchester. The boys maintained composure throughout the second half to earn the victory.

After a tight low scoring first half, the Lady Eagles A team were trailing 10-8.  The start of the second half didn’t look good as Colchester scored 6 straight points, but the Eagles took over from there out scoring the Cougars 24-10 the rest of the game.  Huge team game for the first victory of the season.  Looking for a sell out crowd Friday night!!

Last Friday the boys B basketball team got their 5th win vs. Georgia in a total team effort. Every player scored at least two points. Yesterday the win streak continued. The boys b team made it 6 in a row as they took down Colchester at home. Will they keep the streak alive Wednesday? Come find out as they take on cross town rival ADL at home. 4:15 gametime! (B game only, no A game)

The girls B played a hard fought game that could have gone either way at the end. They showed that they can play with Colchester and they can beat them. While it doesn't feel the greatest now they should be proud of the way they competed. There is a lot of season left to go and we will be seeing them again. I love this team and the way they play.

Please remember to be kind.
