There is a diversity and belonging spirit week coming up next week. Monday is wear blue for Autism, Tuesday is wear mismatched/patterned socks in support of Downs Syndrome, Wednesday wear green in support of sensory disabilities, Thursday wear red in support of physical disabilities and Friday wear blue & white or EMS merch to show your school community spirit!
The Unified Bowling Team will be traveling to Sparetime for their interscholastic tournament on Thursday, December 11. Students need to be dismissed at 9:20 and should return to classes around 1:30 pm.
Calling on EMS creatives! Join the EMS Art Club! You will meet Tuesdays afterschool in the library to talk about and make art alongside each other. If interested, talk to or email J at jbruscini@ewsd.org. A start date will be announced soon once J sees interest in the club.
EWSD is looking for new student members (grades 5–12) to join the Equity Advisory Committee (EAC) — a group that works to make our schools more fair, welcoming, and supportive for all students. Members meet once a month, with optional small-group work. Apply by December 17. Homeroom teachers have more details and the application link.
Have you checked out the themed baskets being raffled off at Bingo night this Thursday? Bingo is a free event, but we are raising money to support future community engagements by raffling off 9 themed baskets. Tickets are $1 each and on sale during lunches on Wednesday and Thursday!
