The EWSD Child Nutrition team is working hard to ensure kids across our community have access to healthy, delicious meals while school is out. This year, we are proud to sponsor both bulk and on-site meal locations! No registration is required - just show up.
On-Site Meal Locations:
Meals at these sites are free for all children 18 and under and must be consumed on-site (no grab-and-go). You can view the weekly menu online.
Maple Street Park Pool Concessions (Essex Jct.)
Breakfast from 9:30-11 a.m. (Monday-Friday)
Lunch from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
Lunch only from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Weekends)
Fort Ethan Allen - near the gazebo (Colchester)
Lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
Bulk meal site locations:
Families can visit our designated bulk meal drive-through locations once a week to pick up free, nutritious meal kits for children 18 and under. Each kit contains seven days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches, ready to heat or serve. No paperwork or registration is required, and you don’t need to be a resident of the town where the site you choose is located—just drive up during the scheduled hours, let us know how many kids you're picking up for, and we’ll hand the meals right to your car. It’s a simple, convenient way to help keep kids nourished all summer long!

The EWSD Summer Meals program is funded by the USDA and run by school districts and local organizations.
