Hello!

My name is Coori Sellers and I'm in my 5th year as Thomas Fleming's School Counselor, and 10th year in the education field. One of the reasons I became a school counselor is because I am a helper at heart, and I enjoy working with children so they can feel successful and appreciated for who they are.

As your School Counselor, I work with students, staff, teachers, parents/ guardians, and members of the community. I am an important member of the team that works to create a positive learning environment for all students reflective of our districts core value: “Growing hearts and minds, for a better today and tomorrow: every day, everyway, everyone.”

I look forward to getting to know your child or continuing to help your child become a successful Thomas Fleming School student and citizen!

How I Work With Students

The school counseling program is designed to promote the academic, social, and personal development of all students. I  spend time in the classroom leading lessons, meeting with students individually and in small groups, collaborating with teachers and parents, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of all families.

Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent. I encourage you to reach out if you have questions or concerns regarding your child.

I can be reached by email (csellers@ewsd.org) or by phone at (802) 857-7701.

School Counseling is for Everybody!

Part of my job is to get to know each and every student in our school so I can help them feel connected and safe while they’re with us. Much of my work with students is confidential, which means I respect your child’s right to privacy. If I am working with your child and I think there is something I think you should know, I will reach out to you.
