Hiawatha's ELL teacher, Terri Geffert, has been selected as a WIDA: Fellow Instructional Expert for the 2023-24 academic year! As a WIDA: Fellow Instructional Expert, she will engage in a collaborative learning group as well as inform and improve the development of professional learning and resources for other educators from September 2023 to May 2024. WIDA Fellows will also receive a $1000 honorarium after the completion of the cohort in May 2024.
