Two EHS students recently competed at the National Field Archery Association Indoor National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. EHS junior, Archer Strauss, won first place in Freestyle Limited Recurve, and EHS senior, Eli Pierce, achieved a personal best score.
Both students are members of the Vermont Junior Archers JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) program, which consists of both the Road Team and Junior Road Team, as well as the students ages 5-20 enrolled in JOAD classes. Team members travel to three or four national tournaments yearly during the indoor archery season from December to mid-April.
