Sarah Marcotte from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory virtually visited CTE's Pre-Tech 2 English class (and a few students from Engineering) to learn about what's happening on Mars. This follows a research unit in which a few students chose to focus on space. Sarah walked through the developments of current and past Mars rovers and discussed how core samples are taken from the planet in preparation for transport back to Earth for study. They also learned about the craters and water basins left behind from a time when Mars was abundant with water. 🚀🚀
