The Child Nutrition Team will be putting a spotlight on school breakfast by encouraging all students to participate in the EWSD Breakfast Participation Challenge for the entire month of March. The rules of the challenge are simple - start each day by accessing FREE school breakfast! The school that increases their breakfast participation the most, by the end of the month, will win an all school recognition prize. Only one breakfast per student will be counted, so make sure to encourage your students who don’t typically eat breakfast to access it! 🍌🍊🥯🥞

School resumes tomorrow, March 6th. Tomorrow is an A day.
EHS will welcome back students and staff with a new display in the main lobby!
"Where will your wings take you?"
Keep an eye out for this display being linked to a scavenger hunt!

"Ellie" Tickets are available now at ewsd.org/ehstheater
Don't miss your chance to see this original production!
Performances are:
March 14 - 16 at 7 pm
March 17 at 2 pm
In the Essex High School Auditorium.
We are very excited to put on our first student-written piece, "Ellie", a one-act play written by senior Theo Herrin.
When a life-altering tragedy changes the course of Elliot’s life, his carefree youth comes to an end. Speaking to his once friends becomes impossible; his parents understand nothing; his younger sibling infuriates him; and he is haunted by a terrifying group of escaped prisoners, who seem to want nothing more than to tell him that everything is his fault, and nothing will ever change. The question is not whether escape is possible - but whether Elliot is strong enough to find it.
We can't wait to see you all there!

Lost and Found tables will be out in the main lobby today: Tuesday, February 20th and Wednesday, February 21st.
Take this opportunity to look to see if you have anything missing!
We will continue to put items out. Any items left will be donated at the end of the Quarter 3 (March 29th).
