The EMS 6th grade teams were excited to welcome guest speaker Tyler Jankoski, Chief Meteorologist for NBC5 News, to wrap up their recent weather and climate unit. Tyler talked about what it takes to become a meteorologist and how he analyzes weather data to bring us the local forecast. After his talk, students were able to go outside to explore the NBC5 First Weather Warning Lab truck. ☀️☁️☂️❄️ #EWSD

ADL 7th Graders Roland Ekstrom and Maddy Williams were selected as Vermont's Middle Level Distinguished Students by the New England League of Middle Schools. Two students are selected each year for this recognition and are awarded to students who show outstanding leadership, service, and achievement. Well done! 🏆👍👍 #EWSD

CTE Forestry & Horticulture program competed in an interscholastic chainsaw competition. They had three participating competitors, Liam Moulton, Cary Longley, and Henry Engelberth. After a suspenseful first round against 60 other students, Liam and Cary placed in the top ten, allowing them to compete in the final round. Cary finished in first place and won a brand-new chainsaw! Congratulations to Cary, Liam, and Henry!
