Fleming students participated in the annual Dance-Off! As part of their physical education curriculum, 4th and 5th grade students create and practice choreography, design their outfits, choose their music, and compete against other classes in their grade! The winners are decided by guest judges, and students perform their routines in front of the school and their families. This year guest judges were UVM students on the Men's soccer team. At the end of the Dance-Off, the faculty and staff participated by performing their own dance! https://youtu.be/MUKyFIIBWjA

Essex High School Senior, Cameron Stultz, was recently named TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year by the Vermont Soccer Association. Cameron participated during all four years of high school as a TOPSoccer volunteer using his leadership competencies to teach soccer skills, create a fun learning environment, and provide an overall positive soccer experience for his buddy. TOPSoccer is a recreational sports program that provides people with diverse abilities an opportunity to play soccer in a structured environment that is safe, fun, supportive, and inclusive. Buddies work with their player individually and make sure they are safe, engaged, supported, and having fun. The player-buddy relationship is maintained throughout the course of a season, resulting in strong interpersonal bonds and an establishment of trust and confidence that allows each player to achieve their full potential.
