The Heavenly Food Pantry, located at the First Congregational Church on Main Street in Essex Junction, will be open to families residing in Essex, Essex Junction, and Westford on Monday, August 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
As usual, there are no income requirements to visit the food pantry and a variety of food is
available to everyone; however, additional food is provided by the USDA to eligible once a
month to families who fall below federally mandated guidelines. Families not able to attend the pantry may call the Church office at 878-5745 Ext. 102 between 9-12 p.m. to leave contact information so arrangements for delivery can be made.
The next food pantry distribution will occur on Thursday, August 22 from 3-6 p.m.

Congratulations to CTE’s Julia Morton who took home first-place honors with a gold medal in Dental Assisting at the National SkillsUSA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. CTE sent 13 students to the annual conference to compete, which was held June 24-29, and had a total of six students place in the top 10 in the nation in their respective categories.

The Essex Westford School District is seeking full-time Mainstream Instructional Assistants in grades K-8, beginning in the 24/25 school year.
In this role, you get to assist and supervise students instructionally, behaviorally, and physically in the general mainstream program. 💫 Congratulations to the EHS boys and girls who competed in the Vermont High School Decathlon State Championship: Nathan, Max, Finnian, Gracie, Isabella, Ada, and Grace. Over 60 Vermont high school track and field athletes came together to compete in 10 track and field events.


Before EES preschoolers headed into summer break, they enjoyed Water Day on the playground! Not only is water play fun, but it is incredibly beneficial; offering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development opportunities.
